Outlaw OLD News Archive!

10/22/13

A bit of news: there few copies of the Destructor LP second edition that are available in blue vinyl! I had to get the pressing plant to do a few replacement copies that I needed to finish off the run (of 200) and they did these last copies on blue vinyl! There's only 23 copies of it on blue vinyl available, they're part of the second edition of 200 copies, but of those 200 copies 177 were on red and these last 23 were done on blue! Everything else is the same, same cover and all- but just on a clear blue vinyl. Price is the same as the red vinyl ones were, $15 plus postage- drop me a line if you'd like one! See photo below:

I think this will be it for 2013, and I'll be working on getting something special together for the Outlaw 50th release in 2014! Thanks!

9/9/13

So I'm back and ready to process new orders, however most of the titles are now sold out and/or close to sold out, just check the catalog page on the left to see what there are still copies of. There are a few distributors carrying these titles too, like Hell's Headbangers and Dark Descent have some Destructors, and Record Boy in Japan had ordered some of every title, and are going to restock some of those (except the Midnight) next week. Thanks!

8/2/13

Midnight "Alive on the Streets of Cleveland" LP is sold out!

Thanks to everyone for their orders, I'm working on catching up. However, I will be unable to take any more orders for any titles until next week, I'll need to catch up on emails/orders and see what's left in the vinyl piles after everything has been mailed out. I'm taking down the link on the ordering page with my email address and please don't start sending in orders again until a week from tomorrow (Saturday, August 10th). Thanks!

7/31/13

As promised, the MIDNIGHT albums were going to be done by July, and it's now the last day of July and they're ready! I've already sent out an announcement to my mailing list and am filling those orders first, and then I will be handling orders from other folks. Due to the fact these Midnight LPs are as I've stated in VG condition covers and such, I will not be accepting international orders via Paypal from people I've not dealt with before and/or who don't have a 'verified shipping address' registered with Paypal. The risk is just too high and I don't feel like dealing with Paypal claims. You can still send in cash in a registered letter which shouldn't be too difficult, we used to do it all the time in the days before Paypal! Thanks for your understanding.

Now the two new releases are:

A double shot of Cleveland metal recorded live in ..... CLEVELAND! One is from 1984 and one is from 2011, but both of them kick ass! So yeah- the new one is the MIDNIGHT live LP which out now, and here's the story on it, along with the second edition of the DESTRUCTOR "Cleveland Was MADE For Metal!" LP too.

MIDNIGHT "Alive on the Streets of Cleveland!" LP (OLR-049): It's the next installment in the "It's a Fucking Boot!" series (it's #6), and this is one that's been in the works for looooooong time- the MIDNIGHT live LP! Ever since Athenar got his real 'live band' together I've been hounding him about doing a live release, and it's only taken us about 5-6 years to make it happen! We've gone back and forth for years... first I wanted to take some songs off the very limited "Violates You Live!" CD release that he sold on the Midnight/Battletorn US tour in 2007, but that idea was nixed. Then we went to Japan, and taped EVERY show, but I never even heard them.... and they weren't up to Athenar's standards, so the idea was shelved. Then in the end of 2011 there was a show Midnight were going to play in Cleveland that was being broadcast live on the radio, and bingo- it seemed like this was the ticket! So I actually flew up for that show and it seemed like it could finally happen but.....

....not so quick! There were some issues with that gig too, but luckily not anything that couldn't be remedied with some 'adjustments', and so a year or so later we finally had it: the MIDNIGHT "Alive on the Streets of Cleveland!" LP was done! Athenar wanted to have them available for their performance at Maryland Death Fest this year, we rushed to get some done for that, and ended up selling about half the pressing that day! There were 280 pressed, and 140 of them went to Maryland, but it took me a while to get these others assembled!

Part of the reason being this: all covers on this release are VG condition. Meaning, they come with dented corners, creases, heavy ring wear, etc etc... they're VG! They look like an old 'bootleg' LP should look, worn out! So conditionphobes BEWARE, there are NO MINT COPIES of this LP, and NONE of them were put in poly bags! It is an anti-conditionphobe release, so if you are somebody who has to have everything 'mint', please don't order this LP because you will be disappointed! The vinyl, however, is mint- we didn't follow through with the idea of making the LPs all VG too, so don't worry about that- you'll be able to listen to it fine, but just can't put it on a shelf and cherish it's mintness!

And even in VG condition people are already selling their double stocks that they bought at MDF for $50+ on eBay, but that's a whole other rant (which you can read on the Outlaw web site front page!). Which leads us to this- there is a ONE PER ORDER on this release, no exceptions- sorry!

In fact, each copy ordered directly from me will be personalized to you on the inside of the jacket, it will have your name inconspicuously written in there! Just like in the 70's when people would label their LPs to make sure nobody stole them! So this will be YOUR copy- each one specially made for YOU the person who ordered it with YOUR name in it! Gotta make sure these last copies get into the hands of people who want them, not people who want to sell them! I even put my name on MY copy (see photo below!), and even my personal copy has a VG condition cover and is POLYLESS to keep it getting more ring wear- so I'm giving my own record the same treatment.... it's really challenging for me as a collector too! Haha! Edition of 280, and it's $15.

DESTRUCTOR "Cleveland Was MADE For Metal!" LP (OLR-046) second edition: And also, there's a second press of this LP by another great Cleveland band, this time on red vinyl and with a completely different cover. I guess I underestimated the response I'd get on that one, didn't know there were so many rabid Destructor fans out there, so I spoke with the band and we decided to run a few more. Edition of 200, and it's $15.

And now for the business side of things, and this is mostly copied and pasted from the email after the last round of releases, it seemed to work well so I'm going to use it again!

Now, the ordering process will be the same as it was last round for titles, and I'll try to explain it here. Basically, as I'd mentioned in the last email I'd sent out over the last couple years I have come pretty close to deciding that I wasn't even going to accept PayPal any more, just because of all the hassles and risks that can come along with it these days- too many hustlers out there! I don't want to deal with 'lost or damaged' goods, claims, headaches, and general problems. And as I stated above, I will NOT be accepting Paypal from new customers without registered shipping addresses. However, requiring money orders or cash payments from everyone would also be a giant pain, so I guess I'm going to stick with accepting PayPal again on a case by case basis for now and see how it goes this time. But I have a few things to say about it and here it goes....

I'd typed up a long 'order terms' section that I was going to put in this post (which still ended up being LONG!), but I decided to try and condense it to this message: please be cool. I am doing this label for fun and as most of you know from dealing with me in the past, I'm no rip off and will send your records in a way that I'd like to receive records that I myself ordered. That being said, I am not in control of what happens to packages after they leave my hands, nor do I want to play into the current neurotic collector 'fear of corner dings' mentality (which is being trampled with the Midnight LPs since they're pre-dinged!).

If you are in the US I will ship your order in a brand new LP mailer with either bubble wrap extra cardboard pieces to cushion/support, but as we all know, nothing in life is 'perfect' or foolproof. For overseas buyers I will also use a brand new LP mailer, but I will use bubble wrap to pad the LP because it will help keep shipping costs down. Using an extra cardboard piece will probably put you into the next realm of shipping cost and drive up your shipping price $4-5, but if you want that let me know! It's your money, so that's your choice. However, I can't "keep postage costs down" and send your LP with 14 pieces of cardboard on each side either! And I am not going to get into shipping things in oversize 'armored car' style mailers, it all just starts getting ridiculous. If you order multiple LPs I might use a bigger 'box style' mailer, but most orders will be shipped in regular LP mailers.

IF YOU HAVE CONCERNS about 'corner dings' or anything of that nature, please ask me to insure your package. This is only possible for US orders, but for $2 you can rest assured that if you have a problem, you can take it up with your local post office and they will solve it. As for international orders, the only option for this sort of protection is to send things by registered mail, which costs $12 on top of the regular air mail shipping costs and can get pricey. I want to make these records accessible to overseas buyers, but orders for multiple LPs to buyers I don't know already or to countries I feel unsure about mailing to might be required to have registered air mail to protect both of us.

And now, after saying all of that, if there's any "PayPal funny business" then I will not be accepting orders from you any more. Which brings us back to what I said at the beginning... please be cool. If there's a problem, please let me know- but I just don't want to deal with PayPal claims and such nonsense that seem to be too common these days. Thank you for your understanding.

There's a limit of one on the Midnight LP as I'd stated above, and for the Destructor I should have enough for people to combine orders if you want to get two to one address, but I'll have to see how things go. As I said, my main priority isn't just 'moving units and making money', it's to get these records to people who want to hear them and care, so my policies are set up to reflect that.

Ordering Process:
The ordering process will go as follows:
1. Please send me an email with "your name + order" in the subject line. For example, if your name is Joe Smith, put "Joe Smith - order" in the subject line of your email. This will help me keep track of everyone's orders easier since everyone's names aren't always on their email addresses.
2. In the body of the email please let me know what you want to order, your shipping address, and what your registered PayPal email address is.
3. Wait to hear from me to confirm order, at which point I'll send a PayPal invoice to you for the total including shipping.
4. Please pay the PayPal invoice within five days, or order will be canceled.
5. Wait for your records to arrive, and crank them up when they do!

Shipping options/terms:

US Orders: Will be sent by Media Mail w/ delivery confirmation unless you request otherwise. While it is the most economical way of shipping, it does take almost a week and that means your order will be in USPS hands/system that long. So if that concerns you, you can choose Priority Mail, which will be more expensive but takes only 2-3 days anywhere in the US. And as I'd also mentioned, if you are concerned with corner dings or anything, please ask for insurance! I will add it on and then if there's a problem you can talk to your local post office and they will handle your claim and compensate you if there's a problem.

International Orders: Will be sent by regular Air Mail unless otherwise requested, which has gone up in price since my last round of releases and is around $18 for the first LP, and probably about $4-5 for each additional LP. I apologize for this, but there's nothing I can do about it, the USPS just keeps raising prices and this last time they went up in a bigger jump than ever before and the increase was mainly on international rates. Evidently, part of this increase was so they could add delivery confirmation with Air Mail packages to certain countries, which they announced and changed this week:

Electronic Delivery Confirmation Now Available to 14 Countries
Along with Canada (added in January 2013), the USPS will be adding Electronic Delivery Confirmation to 13 additional countries for First Class Package International Service, Priority Mail International Flat Rate Envelopes and Priority Mail International Small Flat Rate Boxes. This service will be available for no additional cost.

New countries offering Electronic Delivery Confirmation include Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Croatia, Denmark, France, Germany, Great Britain, Israel, Netherlands, New Zealand, Spain and Switzerland.

While this is GREAT news and does help justify their insane rate hikes, it still doesn't offer insurance- just delivery confirmation. Therefore, I reserve the right to require registered mail be used on ANY order over $50 at my discretion which would serve to protect both of us in this transaction. Or we can go Priority Mail International, which is expensive but has tracking and automatic insurance. Let me know if you want any of these when you place your order.

It might take me a few days to pack and ship your order, so be patient. I will send a 'package shipped' notification via Paypal when I process/ship your order, so you'll know it's on the way.

And there you have it. I know it was a lot to read, but hopefully it answered any/all questions that might come up and streamline the ordering process! There will be no 'buy it now' buttons on my web site for these, I am hoping that will keep people from making impulsive purchases for these and that those who order them are people who actually want the records, like the music, and will listen to them. This isn't the heavy metal stock market, and I'm trying to get away from the current "PayPal Metal" tendencies. Far too much time goes into these records and releases to have them rotting on shelves and never seeing their hour of reprisal on a turntable! Haha!! That's my rant on that.

All US orders will have delivery confirmation automatically added, and as I said, some international orders may have tracking, and others may need registered air mail in some cases. And the PayPal invoices should allow me to keep track of orders and stuff a little easier than in the past! I will respond to emails and ship orders as quickly as possible, usually within a few days of the order coming in, but please don't get bummed out if you don't get an instant response to emails, sometimes it takes a few days to get through the barrage of messages that comes in after I send out these announcements!

Lastly, please see the attachment for photos of these two new LPs. And there are still copies of a few old titles available too so if there's anything you missed out on that you want to put in with this order you can- I've got a few copies of the following LPs left: Barbatos, Deceased, The Victims, and Northern Lights.

So what's next, after these are out? Well, it's time for the big one, OLR-050! I can't believe it's going to be 50 releases soon, I'm working on finding a good one for this historic catalog number- so keep your eyes and ears peeled! Thanks again as always, and I look forward to hearing from you!

Thanks!
Omid

The one copy per order policy will be in place for the MIDNIGHT album, no exceptions. For those who want to understand why I have this policy please see the following items that came up last week:

Midnight LP on eBay #1

Midnight LP on eBay #2

Although I know I play a part in this whole situation by releasing limited stuff, it is frustrating to see people just buying records that I put so much time and effort into and that I try to sell at affordable prices pick them up and sell them a few weeks later for 3 or 4 times what they just bought them for. I try and create cool vinyl items and get them to people who actually want them, listen to them, and enjoy them for the music. My releases are NOT for the people who turn around and sell them on eBay two weeks later. If you want to buy and sell records, go buy stuff from labels like THIRD MAN RECORDS in Nashville (label owned by White Stripes guy), their records jump up in value much faster than Outlaw stuff does!

And if you are going to buy something from me and hope that it goes up in value, at least have a LITTLE class and wait more than a couple weeks to sell it. This isn't the heavy metal stock market! Or maybe it is, and I'm the dumb one. I should price my LPs at $40-50 a piece and run these kinds of people off the field. But that's not going to happen, so in the meantime I'll just keep on trying to keep double stockers away as best as I can- by limited orders to one a person.

Lastly, there's no pre-orders for this (or any) titles, just wait until it's announced as ready. Thank you.

A quick update on things- the Midnight live LPs are not finished and/or available yet. I was hoping to have them done at the same time as the second edition of the Destructor LP for those who might want both, so it might be another week or so. I'm picking up the Destructor cover prints today though, so things are moving forward.

International Orders Policy Update:

And just so it's known, after careful consideration I have decided that for new overseas customers paying via Paypal I will ONLY be shipping orders via Registered Air Mail now, which is approximately $30-35 for first LP depending on country (though each additional LP is less if mailed in same package). This is because it has a tracking number/insurance and will protect both of us from any problems. Again, this only applies to "new overseas customers", if you are an established customer who has ordered from me in the past I will see about shipping regular air mail- but I just can't take risks mailing untrackable packages to people I don't know that were paid through Paypal any more. This service will help to make sure it arrives safely.

The same policy of 'registered mail is required' will also apply to ANY order over $50 from anyone internationally (established or not), because again- it's a risk sending packages this large without tracking. And if you pay me through Paypal the risk becomes all mine once the package leaves my hands and I drop it off at the postal counter.

If you want to save this 'registered mail' fee I will offer the option of paying via US $'s cash in which case I will mail it however you like since I don't have to worry about problems with the Paypal payment being disputed if you say your package didn't arrive.

Another thing I need to address for international buyers that seems to have become an issue recently is customs forms- they will be filled out for the CORRECT amount and value of the items you ordered, so if this is a problem for you in your country please don't order from me. I am not going to forge customs forms to save you a few bucks, it's not something I'm willing to risk. These days almost EVERYTHING in the postal world is automated and has to be done on the computer, and the days of hand written customs forms and all that are behind us, so please don't ask me to do this. I don't want to have problems with the US Postal Service.

Thanks for your understanding.

6/6/13

So the word is out, there is a live Midnight LP on the streets! I assembled the first 150 copies which were all sold at Maryland Death Fest last week. The other 130 copies will not be assembled/available until early July- and so there's no need to write and order it until then. Keep an eye out here for updates on when it's ready. Due to demand, this one will be a one per person release.

And also just so everyone knows, it is a special "anti-conditionphobe" designed cover for this LP that comes with pre-dented corners, ring wear, and creases! There are NO copies with mint covers! Somebody already posted it on Discogs, so you can see photos/info there. Thanks!!

3/23/13

A belated happy new year and all to everyone! I just wanted to make a quick update to the site and let those who are interested know about a couple things:

First, as many who order and/or ship records have probably figured out by now, USPS recently raised their international shipping rates again- but this time it was pretty drastic. Maybe that's an understatement! It's brutal. The cost of shipping just ONE album overseas from the US is now close to $20! So the price of the shipping has now surpassed the record itself. Great news right!? This change came as a big surprise to me, and has made me reconsider a few of my recent decisions regarding the label- most importantly the one about not doing wholesale any more and only making my releases available directly from me.

So I've decided to find a middle ground, and that will be this: For the US orders, I will still handle all orders directly and not be doing any distro or wholesale. With the small runs I do there's just no reason and I think I'll stick with that one. But for overseas, I'll need to find somebody to handle orders over there. I am working on finding a distro in Germany to do an exclusive deal with so they can take a stack of each release and handle orders for people in Europe. I want to find somebody in Germany specifically because they seem to have the most reasonable shipping rates of ANY country these days! They can ship an LP for like 4 Euros to the US even! So yeah, I'm working on that.

And for my friends in Japan and the far east, I will continue to do an exclusive deal with Record Boy in Tokyo. They are old friends and we've been working together forever, so that will be who to contact if you're in Japan- they'll take care of you- thanks Satoru!

Lastly, the "one copy per person" rule will be lifted (on certain titles, not ALL titles) for people who might want to join up with friends in their country or whatever to put in a bigger order. I will have to take it on a case by case basis and it will depend on how many copies are left of a title, so I'll let you know after you email in your order if I can do it. And I would hope this doesn't lead to people ordering multiples just to flip them on eBay in a month, if I see things popping up like that then I'll know my experiment failed. I would appreciate people understanding that I do try and make sure that these records actually get to people who want to hear them and enjoy them- and aren't playing the heavy metal stock market. If you want to play that, there are plently of labels releasing "die hards" and things you can buy that are limited that you can resell to make some dough.

The final bit of news is that there's a second edition of the Destructor LP that was pressed, and I'm just working on getting the covers assembled and that will be ready. I guess I underestimated the demand on that one, and the band wanted some more copies too so I decided to do another run. There were some delays in getting it pressed, and then there hasn't been time for me to assemble them as life got busy, but it will happen soon.

Thanks to everyone for their continued support and I hope to keep the label alive and kicking in some form through all these changes in the world of shipping and such! I know some distros/labels are throwing in the towel, it is a challenge these days to stay afloat when costs rise like that, but I think there are solutions so I'll try to find them.

12/28/12

The Destructor "Cleveland Was MADE For Metal" LP has sold out. Thanks to those who ordered it and hope you are all digging the thrashing power in those grooves! I'm going to try and check in with the band to see about running another edition of those, so if you missed out on the first round and are interested in it please email me and let me know- I'll put you on my mailing list for updates.

Speaking of a mailing list, I've never officially tried to make one- but have sort of assembled one over the years here and there of people who have ordered from me. But if there's anyone out there who actually wants to be on the Outlaw Recordings email list (and isn't already), please drop me a line and I will make sure to add you on there.

These last round of releases were offered to those on my email list first before I even listed them on this web site, so if you're into Outlaw Recordings releases it's a good way to get a head start on the vinyl action.

12/18/12

Hello!

It's been a while since the last round of releases, but there's some new stuff out on Outlaw Recordings and available now!

Things have come full circle over here at Outlaw Recordings, and I'm back to doing what I did when I first started this label, which is making 100 run LPs with hand made covers. These titles will mainly only be available through me via direct mail order. I am not going to be doing any wholesale/distributor copies on any of these- though there are a couple select retail stores who are long time supporters and wanted copies have gotten a few of them. I just don't have the time/interest in doing bigger run releases any more, and so this is what works for me and feels manageable- so it is what it is!

Here are the latest platters- they are each limited to 100 individually numbered copies with hand assembled covers, and all copies are on black vinyl:

DESTRUCTOR "Cleveland Was MADE For Metal!" LP (OLR-046): It's been about 6-7 years in the making, but it's finally out!! A live set by this legendary Cleveland metal band featuring what may be one of the only recordings of the band with the very first lineup featuring Paul Warhead on bass/rants! I'm not saying this to try and sell it because honestly I love this LP so much that if NONE of them sell I'll be fine keeping 100 copies- but in my opinion this is one of the greatest live LPs of all time! You really have to hear it to believe it, just over the top metal attitude and energy, and the between song banter seals the deal! This is also the fifth installment in the "It's a F'in Boot!" live LP series, so it features the old bootleg style insert taped on the cover (edition of 100 copies). Sold Out!

NORTHERN LIGHTS "Anno Satanas" LP (OLR-047): The complete demos of this one man band from Virginia, which was our (late) friend Nigel Fellers. Totally blackened black riff metal with some satanic stoner lyrics (hence the band name), this one smokes! There are six songs, and some of them feature some lead guitar work by Mike Smith (Deceased) too. Nigel was a great guy and we're glad to have put these tunes to vinyl to preserve them and pay tribute to him. This release was done in a collaboration with Maniacal Records, Nigel was a good friend of Mike's too- so he will be getting some of this pressing to sell out of his store and to our friends in VA. But most of the copies are going to be here and available for direct mail order only. (edition of 100 copies). $15

THE VICTIMS "Destitute: The Lost 1977 Demo" 12" EP (OLR-048): This is another one that's been in the works for a while, a demo by a UK punk band that was recorded in 1977 and there is absolutely no record or documentation of anywhere! You can read the whole story about it on the insert, but I found this reel-to-reel in a UK club about a decade ago and just finally got around to having it transferred a few months ago. Unfortunately, it hadn't been very well stored/preserved before I got my hands on it, so the tape had deteriorated and basically fell apart during the transfer. So the sound quality is not perfect, very listenable, but there are some warbles and sound glitches on there. To me, this is all part of the story, and it still needed to be preserved and released- but I just want to put that out there so people know what they're getting. Musically, it's just what you'd hope from a UK punk band in 1977- totally snotty with great riffs and hooks, and lyrics like "Destitute, destitute, my money couldn't hire me a prostitute!". It's got five songs and is on a one sided 12" at 45 rpm (edition of 100 copies). $12

Now, the ordering process will be a little different for these titles, and I'll try to explain it here. Basically, I was pretty close to deciding that I wasn't even going to accept PayPal this time around, just because of all the hassles and risks that can come along with it these days- too many hustlers out there! I don't want to deal with 'lost or damaged' goods, and claims, and general bs. However, doing money orders and such would also be a giant pain, so I guess I'm going to stick with accepting PayPal for now and see how it goes this time. But I have a few things to say about it and here it goes....

I'd typed up a long 'order terms' section that I was going to put on the site, but I decided to try and condense it to this message: please be cool. I will ship your order in a brand new LP mailer with extra cardboard pieces to support, but as we all know, nothing in life is 'perfect' or foolproof. I am not going to get into shipping things in oversize 'armored car' style mailers, it all just starts getting ridiculous. If you order three LPs I might use a bigger 'box style' mailer, but most orders will be shipped in regular LP mailers.

IF YOU HAVE CONCERNS about 'corner dings' or anything of that nature, please ask me to insure your package. This is only possible for US orders, but for $2 you can rest assured that if you have a problem, you can take it up with your local post office and they will solve it. If you are asking me to ship to an unverified address in a country that has a history of 'trouble' with mail being lost, I might not accept your order. I reserve that right to not accept an order by Paypal if I so choose, though you're always welcome to send in cash. Thank you for your understanding.

There's a limit of one of each title per person, no explanation of that is necessary I hope.

International Orders: Will be sent by regular Air Mail unless otherwise requested. There is no tracking for regular Air Mail, so if you want tracking, registered is the only option. Or we can go Priority Mail International, which is expensive but has tracking and automatic insurance. Let me know if you want any of these when you place your order.

Please remember that we are in the holiday season, and there might still be some delays due to high package traffic in the USPS system. So be patient, I will send a 'package shipped' notification when I generate your order through PayPal shipping, so you'll know it's on the way.

And there you have it.

All US orders will have delivery confirmation automatically added, and as I said, international orders may need registered air mail in some cases, but those by regular air mail won't have tracking on them. And the PayPal invoices should allow me to keep track of orders and stuff a little easier than in the past! I will respond to emails and ship orders as quickly as possible, usually within a few days of the order coming in, but please don't get bummed out if you don't get an instant response to emails since I do have a full time job these days!

Lastly, please see the photo below of all three vinyls.

So thanks for reading, and your support of the label for close to thirteen years now! I think you're gonna dig these!!!!

Alright!!!
Omid

8/31/12

So it's been a year since the last update on here, time flies! Well there's a few things in the works.... keep an eye out! Details will follow as things go to press! Thanks!

8/30/11

"Sin Voices" book available now!

The first book on Outlaw Publications is available now! This book project was a collaboration between myself and my friend Brent Stewart, it's black and white drawings along with words taken from Battletorn songs!

The book is 56 pages, softcover, and there are 100 #'ed copies. It's $5 plus postage, which in the US will be a couple bucks and over seas probably not much more than that- it should be an easy item to mail. Drop me a line via email (contact info on the left) and I'll give you a total for it to send in.

Here's some more photos of it in this photo album: "Sin Voices" click here

Hopefully this is the first of many books we can do on the publications end of things, if you have any good ideas for books feel free to email me!

8/12/11

Outlaw Publications is ready to launch.

The first book "Sin Voices" is at the publisher right now, and should be ready for release in late August. The book is a collaboration between Brent Stewart and myself (Omid), and features words taken from Battletorn songs with artwork by Brent. I'll make a post when it's ready to roll, it's cool to finally be getting this area of the label up and running!

Hope everyone's had a great summer!

4/7/11

PLACE OF SKULLS "Love Through Blood" CD-EP reissue out now!

A new release is out now, it's a digi-pack reissue of the long out of print Place of Skulls "Love Through Blood" CD-EP from 2005. Features the original 4 studio tracks plus 2 live bonus tracks (exclusive to this release), and has completely new artwork too! A very cool package, limited to 1000 copies, of which we only got 300 of them. It was a joint release with Maniacal Records, so they have some copies and most of the copies went to Place of Skulls for them to sell on their European tour!

I have created a "Google Checkout" button I am trying for this release for ordering, let's see how this goes and if I can step into 2011 gracefully!!

Place of Skulls "Love Through Blood" reissue digipack CD - $10 + postage

** Googlecheckout button removed because I'm down to the last few copies of this release- please just email for instructions on how to order via Paypal.**

And I'm also going to offer a combo package for those who may not have the Victor Griffin "Late For An Early Grave" CD, which features some songs that went on to become Pentagram and Place of Skulls songs! You can get both the new Place of Skulls reissue CD and the Victor Griffin CD for $15 together- a killer deal!

+++++

Combo Pack: PoS CD + Victor Griffin CD for $15 is SOLD OUT- I'm down to just the last few copies of each of these releases so they can only be ordered individually - please email for Paypal ordering instructions. Thanks.

These Google Checkout buttons are only good for orders from the US ONLY, so if you are from overseas/Canada/Mexico you'll have to submit your order via email and I'll send you an invoice by whatever method we decide to use.

Thanks to everyone, look forward to hearing from you!

1/1/11

Happy new year to everyone!

As I'd mentioned in the fall, the goal for future releases is to put out at least one release a year from here on out, maybe two if time permits. The label will go on as long as I can find interesting things to release, but there's no way to keep up the pace of multiple releases a year and do the other things I want to do in life, so I have been trying to find that balance.

I have some cool things in the pipeline, but will not make formal announcements until they are finalized and ready to go to press. Keep an eye on the site for updates.

And I still have a few copies of these misc titles, some of which are long sold out releases that I happened to get back from this distributor last year... a true 'warehouse find'!! haha...:

RANCID DECAY "Presumed Dead" LP (2004): Classic 80's crossover thrash from this Baltimore band (who I saw open for Nuclear Assault in summer of '87!) , the LP was issued in a numbered edition of 500 featuring their first two demo tapes. Has a killer sleeve and inner sleeve with liner notes from members of Deceased and Cannibal Corpse along with a flyer gallery on the back! Plus they have the cool little "promo stickers" on the poly bags telling about the release for when they actually made it into stores. (4 copies available) $12/each

THOR "Mutant" LP (2003): This was the collection of demos spanning from 1973-2003 by the Canadian muscle metal king! Comes in a beautiful gatefold sleeve designed by Pat (from Villains), this is the purple vinyl edition which was limited to 300 numbered copies, comes with insert. (6 copies available) $15/each

VYNDYKATOR "Heaven Sent From Hell" LP (2004): Amazing power metal featuring ex-Attacker members, was released in a numbered edition of 210 in silk screened sleeves with insert. (1 copy available) $*sold out*

MIDNIGHT "Complete and Total...." CD (2005): This is the original version of the CD we released before NWN put it out with a different cover and some more tracks. So for Outlaw collectors or Midnight collectors who want it with the other sleeve, here's your chance! (1 copy available) $*sold out*

Also, I'm down to the last 15 copies of the BARBATOS and DECEASED live albums from last year, you can see the information about those on the 'catalog' page.

Email me to confirm which items you would want and where they need shipped, then I will email you an invoice with total cost including shipping. Thanks!

9/28/10

Well, the fall is already upon us, and though I had originally planned on trying to get a couple releases ready by now it just doesn't seem like it's in the cards. A few months ago I'd announced that I planned on cutting back to 4 releases a year- two in the fall and two in the spring. But as I've thought about it, I think that I probably won't be able to keep to that schedule.

At this point, it seems more likely to shoot for doing at least one release a year from here on out, maybe two if time permits. The label will go on as long as I can find interesting things to release, but there's no way to keep up the pace of multiple releases a year and do the other things I want to do in life, so I have to find that balance.

For the spring release there is definitely a cool one coming up, I don't want to announce it until it's actually underway- so keep an eye on the site for updates.

Thanks again to everyone for their support of the label, and have a great rest of your 2010!

7/22/10

Thanks to everyone who donated and gave stuff to be auctioned for the flood benefit. Together we raised $1000 to give to Vernon, and I know that he and his family appreciated it a lot. So thank you.

The reason for the delay between posts on here was that my computer died and I had to get a new one, and get my programs back on it etc.... so that's all taken care of and I'm back on the map!

In the interim there was a new release, it is the second (and final) pressing of the DECEASED "Stalking The Airwaves" LP, we did 200 more on a splatter vinyl mainly so I could give King a ton of free copies to sell at DECEASED gigs and make some money. So 100 copies of the 200 made went straight to the band, and I have a few of the other copies left if anyone wants one. They are $12 for folks who didn't get the first pressing, but if you did get the first pressing from me you can have this one for $8 if you want it. I don't want people spending full price on the same record twice, it doesn't seem fair. So that's the deal! Here's a photo of it, has a slightly different cover than first pressing:

Besides that not a whole lot to report, there will (hopefully) be a couple new releases in the Fall of 2010, and we'll see where it goes from there!

Later!
Omid

5/12/10

Hello Friends,

I am making this post to help spread the word about some stuff I'm auctioning and giving away as a way to drum up some money to donate to a Nashville area flood victim who works at United Record Pressing.

For those of you who don't know, we were hit by a serious flood last weekend that wiped out a lot of people, businesses, and just whatever it felt like. Luckily for me, the water stopped about a block away from my house, but you can see from the photos attached that those on the street over from me were not as lucky- so it's bitter sweet.

Mother nature is bigger than us, and that was apparent, but now there are many in our town without homes, jobs, or much of anything but hope. One of these folks is a guy named Vernon who works over at the record pressing plant I press my vinyl at, so I'm auctioning off some stuff from the Outlaw vault and doing some give aways of other rare items to folks who want to contribute towards this. All proceeds will go directly to Vernon to help him and his family rebuild their lives.

Here is what I've got up for auction and the links to them:

Midnight & Abigail - test pressing 45: CLICK HERE FOR EBAY AUCTION

Midnight & Abigail - tour edition 45 + autograph card + tour poster: CLICK HERE FOR EBAY AUCTION

Deceased - Live LP test pressing: CLICK HERE FOR EBAY AUCTION

And if you absolutely hate ebay or whatever, and just want to get donate and get something, I am also putting 5 special copies of the Midnight & Abigail split out there as "gifts" to those who make a donation of $35 (or more if you can afford it, up to you). The copies that people who make these generous donations will get are "promo copies" which were from a small stack that United was kind enough to pass on from the over run.

These singles are basically identical to the "tour edition" 45s except the "autograph cards" are printed (not actually signed). But they come on splatter vinyl, with the two sided insert, and are not really numbered but instead say "promo copy - 666" on the back of the white cover. There is a photo attached. There are only 9 total of the pressing that are like this, and a few of those have to go to people who helped with the release- so these 5 will go to friends of Outlaw who can make a donation. A good way to get a rare record and support a worthy cause, and I will cover the shipping for these in the US, but for people from overseas it would be helpful to kick in a little towards postage.

You can read about the "Vinyl for Vernon" stuff here at the page United has up right now, and if you want to make a donation directly to them please feel free. CLICK HERE For The"Vinyl For Vernon" Page

But if you want to make a donation to the collection I am getting together just please contact me and I'll give you details on how to do that. You can email me at outlawrecordings (at) gmail (dot) com

The photos attached are of the Midnight & Abigail 45, then flood photos from last Monday here in Nashville... the first two are from the next street over from me, the last is downtown.

I/we/everyone here in Nashville appreciates your support and/or donations, I thought I'd seen it all after living in Tehran during a revolution/war, and then being in NYC for 9/11, but this is a whole other kind of devastation.

But we will survive, and the world keeps turning!
Thanks!
Omid

4/11/10

As some of you may/may not know, I in 2010 I hit the 10 year anniversary of doing the label, crazy how time flies! And with the recent increase in number of Outlaw Recordings releases it's made me kind of evaluate what I'm going to do with it from here on out- and I think I came up with a plan of what the future of Outlaw Recordings will look like for those who are interested.

My plan for now is to have a set schedule for doing releases, and just stick to doing 4 releases a year- 2 in the spring and two in the fall of each year. That way I can just "pair" them up for promotion/sales purposes, and it will cut back on the amount of time/effort/funds I put into this label which for all intents and purposes has never been more than a fun way to release a few vinyls that I would like to see in my own collection!

While I have enjoyed the increased number of releases and things over the last year, as I know many of you have too, Outlaw Recordings was never meant to be a 'business' nor do I want to make it one.

And I definitely don't want to become a label who puts out stuff for the sake of putting out stuff.... there are way too many labels who just release mass quantities and the quality control and specialness of them can be compromised. Not all labels who are prolific fall into this category, so please don't take this as an insult to labels who put out more than a few records a year.

But as we all know when you look back at a label like METAL BLADE or NOISE RECORDS, the first few years were all must have releases and then after a while you couldn't even begin to keep track of what the fuck they were dumping on the market every 10 minutes. And not that my label was ever in the league of those mega-labels, but the idea is still the same. Maybe you have to put out that much stuff to keep it alive if you are running it as a business, but since that's not my goal I guess it's not necessary for me to do that.

From the beginning Outlaw was meant to be a label which made "custom vinyl for the few". Over time I ended up putting out CDs and sometimes pressing up to 2,000 copies, so I definitely veered from that original game plan a bit, but I feel like I didn't get too far over my head and have managed to keep it going and interesting now for a decade, so I want to give it a fair chance at surviving another decade.

Many of you have asked me, "what's next on the schedule"? Well, to be honest I don't really know.... I think that the MIDNIGHT *& ABIGAIL split and the recent DECEASED live LP will count as my releases for the "Spring 2010", so I will probably work on getting a couple killer ones lined up for the "Fall 2010" releases.

And of course if for some reason I don't come across or feel inspired to release something as the time for a round of releases approaches, I'll just skip over it until the next season. I'm not going to force it to be 4 releases a year, but that will most probably be the maximum number of releases a year on Outlaw from here on out.

Thanks to all of you who have supported and sent in emails about recent releases, it means a lot. More than anything, the friendship and killer vinyls are what I want people to remember Outlaw Recordings by. So I thank each and everyone of you who have been a part of it so far, and here's to the future!

Later!
Omid

4/1/10

The MIDNIGHT & ABIGAIL splits are pressed and ready, just being assembled now! Available for ordering, see catalog page for info on how to get one of the 300 copies on black vinyl with a UK style center that were made for direct mail order from Outlaw! One copy per person/order please, trying to make sure everyone gets one! Thanks!

3/13/10

Picked up the DECEASED "Stalking the Airwaves!!!" live LPs yesterday- they're assembled and ready for ordering! If you want it now it's $12 plus postage, or I will be sending out an email when the MIDNIGHT & ABIGAIL tour single is ready too so people can order the two of them together.

I also got the test pressings for the MIDNIGHT & ABIGAIL split today, they sound great so it's going to press now too. Hope to have them back and ready in a couple weeks. We leave for the tour in like 5 weeks, going to rule! See the flyer for the tour below.

2/16/10

So the second edition of the BARBATOS "Razor Leather Live!" LP is available now, it's on a split colored vinyl, limited to 200, and with a different cover! This will be the final pressing of this, and it's $12 as the first pressing was.

The other new releases are still in production so please just wait to hear from me when they're ready.

2/09/10

Alright, for a quick update, the RTX single is sold out now- but if you want copies their label DRAG CITY bought 75 copies of the pressing so they have it on their web store, google it! Have a few copies of the MACH II full length LP on vinyl left, and also have about 5 copies of the CORPUS ROTTUS for sale again- some people who had put in orders for CR vinyls didn't come through with payments so these are back out on the table for anyone who missed it the first time.

As far as new releases, there are a few updates:

MACH II "Mach II" CD: There will be a CD version of the LP coming out shortly, it will have three bonus live cuts from their first gig on it!

BARBATOS: "Razor Leather Live!" LP: There is a second edition of this LP coming out probably next week, it will be on colored vinyl and have a completely different cover! So it's a good chance for those who missed it the first time to grab it, and if you bought it and just want it for the different cover/color that's cool too- I am going to send out an email so that folks who got the other version can have this one at a discount. I'm not trying to become a label who gets 100 people to buy records with 5 different covers, but to keep it interesting for myself I did have to switch it up for the second pressing! This second (and final) pressing will also be limited to 200.

DECEASED "Stalking The Airwaves!!!" LP: should have the test pressings for this LP soon, the covers are printed and waiting so this should hit the streets in March as planned. It will be limited to 200.

MIDNIGHT & ABIGAIL - Japan Tour 45: This is a killer release, very very pumped on this one! Also waiting on test pressings for this, cover is designed (with art by William Battletorn) and all components are coming together. Should beon the streets in March!

After that who knows what's next! Keep your ear to the ground!

Happy new year to all! The MACH II and RTX releases are almost sold out, have less than 10 copies of each left- so thanks as always for everyones orders!

If you have the time, take four minutes out of your day and treat yourself to a killer RATT video! I saw these guys a few months back, they were rockin'!!!

Long live the riff, long live the fun, long live the RATT!

12/22/09

Hello all!

Happy holidaze, hope everyone is having a good end of 2009!

So there are two new releases ready for ordering now, here are the details and a photo down at the end:

MACH II "Mach II" LP (OLR-041): At long last the debut full LENGTH release by these Cleveland rippers, 8 songs that will have you playing air guitar and banging your head without even knowing why! Comes in an official full printed cover and everything, this thing is a jammer! $12

RTX "Vampyre Love" 45 (OLR-042): The first single in the "It's a Fuckin Boot!" live series, this one is a one-sided vinyl with an etched b-side, came out looking and sounding great! The song is of course a live cover of the Pentagram classic , done with the RTX style and twist infused while still respecting the original tune. In a hand stamped sleeve, limited to 200 numbered copies. And as a side note if you want to hear the absolute original version of this you can also check out the VICTOR GRIFFIN "Late For An Early Grave" CD on Outlaw with his original demo version, see the catalog page. But back to biz, the RTX single is $6

Postage: For those who want both new releases I'll do what I did last time and offer a slight discount which would make it $23 postpaid for the LP+45 as a set by media w/ confirmation in the US, or $33 postpaid by air mail for the LP+45 as a set anywhere in the world. Hope that seems fair!

If you only want one or the other the postage is as follows:
MACH II s/h: US=$4 and World=$12
RTX 45 s/h: US=$3 and World=$6
or need some other combinations please let me know, I'll figure it out for you.

Confirming order: As always, please write to me and confirm I have the items you want and I'll confirm that you should submit payment via paypal. I only have about 75 copies of each of these titles for sale via my mail order so they will probably go quick.

Thanks to everyone for their continued support of the label- there's some great things planned for 2010, so here's to keeping the train rollin!

11/8/09

Hello all-

Thank you all so much for the great response and orders that poured in for the new releases. Most of the copies I had of all three titles were sold within the first 48 hours, it was a whirlwind! SO, I'm posting this message to let you know if you had wanted to order from me but hadn't gotten around to it yet- please write to ask me what you were looking for before you send in any more payments.

Also, there are copies of all three releases that will be going out to distros around the world, here is a list of places that will be carrying titles, I have listed which titles they will be carrying next to their site link.
As far as shipping these, it's taken a while to get all the orders ready, but all small orders shipped yesterday, and all of the wholesale orders will ship on Monday. They are going by media w/ delivery confirmation so give a week or so for them to get there but they will arrive.

Keep an eye out for emails about more new Outlaw Recordings releases coming soon! The full length debut LP by MACH II is at the plant, along with a one sided live single by RTX doing a cover of Pentagram's "Vampyre Love", both of them rule!

Here is the list of distros and stores and which titles they picked up, they might not be on their sites just yet because they haven't gotten them, but check back if you want them. And while you're there take a look at their other stuff too- all of these folks have great mail orders! see here:

* AJNA Offensive: http://www.theajnaoffensive.com/ (Corpus Rottus, Barbatos, and Symptoms!)
* NWN Prod: http://www.nwnprod.com/ (Corpus Rottus, a few Barbatos)
* Hells Headbangers: (Corpus Rottus & Barbatos) http://www.hellsheadbangers.com/
* Needleteeth Records: http://www.needleteeth.com/ and http://www.myspace.com/needleteethrecords (Corpus Rottus, a few Barbatos)
* Legion of Death: (Barbatos) http://www.legionofdeathrecords.com/
* Planet Metal: (Corpus Rottus & Barbatos) http://www.myspace.com/planetmetal
* Rockadrome: (Corpus Rottus & Barbatos) http://www.rockadrome.com/
* Troubleman Unlimited (Symptoms) http://www.troublemanunlimited.com/store/

Also, a lot of people have been asking about back catalog stuff- as you can tell from my catalog page on this site most of my releases are sold out through me. However, I am updating the catalog page with some links to the Scratch Distribution site (a distributor in Canada I have worked with in the past) they still have copies of some of my very old and sold out titles on their site for people who may want to get them from them.

Thanks!
Omid/Outlaw Recordings

11/5/09

Alright, that was a blur, but in the 48 hours since I posted these releases for sale most of them have flown out the door! The BARBATOS record is basically sold out, the CORPUS ROTTUS is moving along too and same with SYMPTOMS. A lot of people took advantage of the "combo triple pack" deal which was cool, I appreciate you checking out all the new stuff in one shot! I will post links to some distros and stores who will have copies of the BARBATOS (and other titles) here shortly after I send out their copies so that people who didn't get it from me will have another chance to get their hands on this LP.

Thanks for your emails, orders, and support!
Cheers!
Omid

11/3/09

Hello Friends!

So 2007 & 2008 were slow years in the Outlaw camp, a lot went down and there was only a release per year for those two years! But things are back on track and some new releases are finally coming out! I'm very happy with the way all three of these 12"s came out (well one of them is a full LP), and hope you all dig them too! I am offering a special package deal to those who may want to check out all three releases so you can save on postage, you can read about that under the descriptions. And also, there's a photo attached of the three releases for those who like visuals!

*********************************************

CORPUS ROTTUS "Nihilism" one sided 12" (edition of 150, OLR-038): This is a monster that I am so proud to see being preserved to vinyl. CORPUS ROTTUS was part of the metal scene where I grew up in the Northern Virginia area, and though they actually hailed from Delaware they became friends with King Fowley and DECEASED and made their mark on the scene down there in the late 80's/early 90's. They released the brutal "Intensified Gore" 45 and "Rituals of Silence" cassette on King's "With Your Teeth" record label in 1991, and the "Rituals...." got licensed and released on LP by the Damnation Distribution label in Holland the same year. In 1992 they recorded an 8 song demo which would be their last, the band broke up soon after the recording. Earlier this year, singer Bryon "Bundy" Swafford resurfaced, and through a chance internet meeting a friendship was struck and this release is the result. The 8 songs from that 1992 demo are what has been put to vinyl on this one sided 12", housed in a stickered sleeve modeled after the CORPUS ROTTUS stickers the band used to make on sticker paper back in "the day"! Musically to my ears it's even more intense than the "Rituals..." LP, it takes a nod from some of the incredible grind and death that was coming out at the time and rolls it into one fist to the face! Think along the lines of the best of the early 90's Earache movement (early Barney-era NAPALM DEATH crossed with ENTOMBED with their CORPUS ROTTUS twist added in). Also includes what is in my opinion one of the best drum fills ever by Kevin, it sounds like he is on a revolving stool and goes a full 360 turn on the kit! As stated above this is an edition of 150 numbered copies and it is $10.

BARBATOS "Razor Leather Live!" LP (edition of 200, OLR-039): You know that these guys kill, so probably don't need to tell you as much about them. When Battletorn was in Japan in 2008 we played with ABIGAIL, and Yasuyuki and I hit it off and kept in touch, eventually a release was sure to happen! And it did- with this live LP which is the second LP in the Outlaw Recordings "It's a Fuckin' Boot!" series of live LPs (the first was the BOULDER "Unleased in the Midwest" many years back). Modeled after the old 70's bootleg style LPs this comes in a plain sleeve with the printed insert taped to the front cover. Features 10 songs recorded live in Tokyo in 2008, you know what these guys are all about.... "Rockin Metal Motherfucker", "Red Leather Bitch", "Drink Till Death" and many more! Features members of ABIGAIL, CUTTHROAT, GATES, SIGH, etc. And of the 200 copies that were made about 120 of them were pre-sold and spoken for before it was even completed, so get yours before the rest are gone! This LP is a numbered edition of 200 and is $12.

SYMPTOMS "Symptoms" one sided 12" (edition of 150, OLR-040): The first Nashville band I have releases since moving here, these guys kick it out on this 8 song debut 12". Great punk in the vein of old BLACK FLAG but with a UK punk/hardcore influence too, it's a good mix. Catchy songs with hooks, comes in a silk screened sleeve that the band themselves made, looks and sounds killer! This 12" is a numbered edition of 150 and is $8.

*********************************************

ORDERING: Please send me an email (outlawrecordings at gmail.com) telling me what titles you want and where you live, and if you can pay by PAYPAL. I will send you a total with s/h that you can send payment for. All PAYPAL payments can go to this address.

PACKAGE DEAL: The total for the three new releases would be $30 if you got all three, so if you get them in the US I will offer a half price discount for the postage for the set, so instead of being $6 s/h for postage it would only be $3. So basically you can have all three postpaid for $33! And I will also offer the same $3 off shipping for overseas friends who order all three too.

WHOLESALE: There are enough left of these titles for me to wholesale them, so if you run a distro or store and want wholesale please tell me how many copies you need and I will get you a price. But I do not do trades, sorry. I have my work cut out for me getting my own releases out and on the streets so I don't do a distro or trade. Thanks!

JAPANESE FRIENDS: Copies of all three of these releases are on the way to Record Boy in Tokyo and they should have them available for ordering very soon. Please consider placing your order from them if you are in Japan as it will probably save you postage and it is good to support your local record shop! Record Boy is a classic Japanese shop run by great people, we want them to have good fortune and business through these years so please contact them.

Thank you all for your continued friendship and support! The label is coming up on it's 10 year anniversary in January of 2010, can't believe it's been that long! It's been a fun ride and it's not over yet! As my friend King of Metal said it best, let there be fun! And I would add to that let there be vinyl!

Thanks!

Heard som very sad news today: Dickie Peterson from BLUE CHEER died this morning after battling cancer. May he always be remembered for his contribution to creating some of the heaviest music ever. I had the chance to see BLUE CHEER live on a few occasions and met him once, was an honor.

And this is how much I believe that BLUE CHEER was one of the most important bands ever- here is a photo of the different pressings I have of their earth shaking 1968 debut LP "Vincebus Eruptum".

BLUE CHEER rules. Rock in Peace Dickie. Loud.

10/7/09

So these three releases listed below are ALLLLLMOST ready, there were some delays due to glitches with pressing plates, getting new ones made for one of the LPs, new test pressings, etc, etc. It always takes longer than expected but this round got delayed more than I've ever experienced. Should be out by November though, I want to get all three on the street at the same time to make it easier for people to order stuff together instead of shipping three different packages (for those who will want more than one of these releases!).

Check back soon, it will happen sooner than later!

6/13/09

Alright! Here's the latest, there are three or four Outlaw releases set to drop, not sure which will come out in which order but all will be out sooner than later. Here they are:

CORPUS ROTTUS - one sided 12" of unreleased 1992 demo by this legendary Deleware death band!

BARBATOS - "Razor Leather Live!" a live LP on the "It's a Fuckin' Boot" series by these Japanese thrashers, beer.... metal.... hell!

MACH II - "1 to 5" the full length by Clevelands finest, a hard rockin metal masterpiece! This will be a three way joint release between Shifty, Outlaw Recordings, and Maniacal Records!

SYMPTOMS - 12" by a great metal punk band, my first Nashville band release!

So yeah, keep your ears open, these will be out soon! Though they will follow along the same lines as the first MACH II release as far as "Livin Easy" editions (not numbered, no glitzy inserts) they are still limited and sell out fast so watch for them. F**K the hype, let's get back to the music!

2/28/09

Daaaaaaaaaaammmmnnnnnnnn.... that was a LONG time without an update on this site!

Well, can't take all the credit for that! It was a long year, had to make an unplanned move, didn't have my computer set up anywhere and was living out of a duffel bag for six months so the Outlaw Site was NOT updated! And yet it didn't stop the Outlaw machine!

There was a release that came out in that time, the debut 12" single by MACH II! It came and went like the breeze, so if you didn't get it I'm sorry- but the band may still have some copies! We only did 150 of them, one sided 12"s in silkscreened sleeves- all of them hand etched on blank side.

But there was NO insert, NO numbering, NO poster, NO patch or anything of that sort, it was the antithesis of the now standard DIE HARD editions. The MACH II release was the first of the taking it back to basics mentality on Outlaw- it was a "Livin' Easy Edition". Who wants to die hard when you can live easy?!?! I'll post photos and add that 12" to the discography soon, but again- if you didn't get one from me google the band and contact them- they may still have some copies.

More releases are being planned and there will be some new Outlaw wax in 2009!

Never surrender!

4/26/08

So the first Outlaw Recordings release in a while came out this year, we got the BATTLETORN & MGT "No Mercy Attack!" split Japan Tour 45 out! We took all our copies to Japan and sold them on the tour, so we're totally out of them. But the band MGT from Japan may still have a few copies, so if you search them out and contact them through their web site you may be able to get one from them. The Japan tour was amazing, many details, photos, things posted on the different BATTLETORN web sites!

The next release planned is a one sided 12" by MACH II, which is a Cleveland hard rock/heavy metal band featuring members of BOULDER and MIDNIGHT. It smokes. They have a web site up so you can check them out if you like. Keep your ear to the ground on that!

12/31/07

Wow, 2007 came and went eh!?!? This marks the first year since the label's inception that nothing came out. There have been a lot of other things happening, so I guess it is what it is, but the label is not done... just dormant for a while!

There is a release coming out first thing next year- I just sent in the masters to get the vinyls made today, it is a split 45 featuring the band I play in, BATTLETORN and MGT from Japan. BATTLETORN is going over to Japan for 6 shows in March of 2008, and this limited tour single with MGT (who set up the tour) will be released to coincide with it. There will be 200 copies, it should be cool, so drop a line if interested in one!

Have a great new years, and until then.........

6/16/07

Outlaw Recordings is moving to a new town next week! The new HQ are in glorious Nashville, TN!!!

Have to get settled in and will get back on track getting some new releases together in the future. I know I've had a lot of things on deck and simmering for a while, but once we get down south I hope to get some of these things out finally!

2/16/07

Wow.. after a 5 year delay in finishing the inserts for the last 25 copies of this, the last of the correct pressings of the BANG picture disc LPs are done! It took me a whole day of printing and for the 25 inserts that came out right, there were 25 that had to be tossed- but at least it's DONE at long last! Get 'em while they last- see catalog page for ordering info!

1/19/07

Happy new years to all! The test pressing picture discs are sold out, as are a couple more titles... hopefully in 2007 I can get a few things out to fill out the list of stuff available for ordering again!

12/14/06

Just was in the 'vault' looking at some stuff that had accumulated, and found these boxes of test pressings I'd had here for almost 4 years... back when I had these made in Fall of 2002 I had planned on making silkscreened bags for all my pic disc test pressings- but the ink you have to use is this toxic stuff which you have to wear a mask to print... to make a long story short here we are 4 years later and it never got printed so I just printed some paper inserts for them- and am putting them out there if anyone wants one. There were 10 copies of each made, they are blank white picture discs for the VYNDYKATOR and BAD WIZARD albums I released, and come with #'ed inserts. I've never sold off test pressings of anything I've done on this site, so as far as pricing we'll say $15 each because they were expensive to have made back when I had it done! But they're pretty cool if you've never seen a pic disc test.

Besides that I'll sign off for the year- happy holidays to everyone and hope all is well!

later,
Omid

11/27/06

Been a long time since the last update, sorry about that! A lot has happened- life keeps going and there hasn't been as much time for label stuff these days! The only release that is still in the works and will definitely be out at some point soon is the JACKIE BODIMEAD "Don't Believe In Love" reissue CD- which at this point will probably be out early next year.

Last week we lost of one of our friends and members of a group that released a record on this label- Rob Oriani from VYNDYKATOR passed away. Our respects to his family and friends, he was a killer metal guitarist and will be missed. Crank up your VYNDYKATOR vinyl in his honor.

In strangely timed and related news, I got back a few copies of a couple of out of print and long sold out from the label titles from the distributor- which included a few copies of the VYNDYKATOR black vinyl version of the 'HSFH' album. Also in there were a few copies of the BOULDER 'Unleashed in the Midwest' LP. So if anyone out there never got these two items, drop me a line- you have a second chance.

3/1/06

Well, once again, time flew by, almost five freakin' months since the last update! What can I say? A lot going on in other areas of life... BATTLETORN is moving along, we stripped down to a two piece and have recorded a new record. Plus, we're going to the UK for a week long tour next month! That's gonna rule!

But, what you're here for is music, OUTLAW RECORDINGS style, and I'm VERY happy to announce that the THOR "Mutant" CD is FINALLY ready!!! Yes, it's taken a few years to get this baby together.. it's gone through many stages of development and such, but the end result is a package I hope you all will dig! It's a very unique one, basically what we've assembled is a CD housed in an LP cover (a-la the DEATH SS "Horror Music" set that came out in Italy a few years back). So all you CD buyers will get to experience the LP sleeve, and inside wll be a CD version of this album featuring 4 more unreleased bonus tracks from the vault and an rare radio interview from 1984!

It comes in the original "Mutant" gatefold LP sleeve with a new insert featuring liner notes on the new songs, and there are only 500 #'ed copies! These are all on a pro-printed silver studio-CDRs, I went back to my roots of having small run CDs made by a studio uptown like I did for a few early releases! They are well done, silver with a screened title on top, and came out great! Since it's not a big run CD, we can afford to put these out at an even cheaper cost than usual CDs, and are listing this one at just $8!!

Now, after I assemble and FINALLY get this thing out there, there are 3 albums that I hope to have come out pretty soon after this in the spring, those being the DESTRUCTOR, ENEMY SOIL, and NORTHERN LIGHTS albums! At that point, basically everything that I've had in the pipeline will be out, with the exception of a couple long term ideas that will hopefully come to fruition one day too!

One more thing real quick, I have about 30 copies of this BANG 's/t' LP picture disc mispressing version sitting here that I am GIVING away with orders (all I ask is you pay the postage), so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, if you like heavy heavy duty rock then do yourself a favor and ask me for one of these, they're FREE!!! They have a pressing flaw which makes them skip into the first track on side two, and the pixilation on the photo of side two is off, but they sound/look good enough that they don't deserve to be in a land fill, so TAKE THEM OFF MY HANDS and enjoy them! They've been in my kitchen for years, I can't open my fridge because I have too much stuff in here- HELP!!!!!

That's the story for now folks, hope you're all doing well and talk to you soon!

10/14/05

Been over two months since I've gotten to update the site! wow... time is flying by! Things are well in NYC, except for the week of non-stop rain!

So, a couple of things have come to the surface, the first being that the THOR "Mutant" CD is about to be unleased any day! It's going to be a small custom run CD, and will be housed in an LP cover! Basically, when I got the THOR "Mutant" LPs made, there was some kind of mixup at the plant and they made 500 extra LP covers. They've been sitting in my storage facility waiting for something to happen with them, but I don't plan on doing another pressing of "Mutant" on vinyl...

Now, we want to do a CD of this, and so my idea was to house the CD version in the extra covers for the LP! This will make it look way cooler than a regular CD obviously (since LP covers are so much larger and beautiful!), and it will also make it so that I can sell this much cheaper since we already have the sleeves! It will feature some bonus tracks not on the LP version. Expect this to hit the streets on Halloween. That's my goal!

Besides that, there are two different "It's A Fuckin' Boot" LPs about to be unleashed, those being the DESTRUCTOR "Cleveland Was MADE For Metal!" album which I believe is from their first live show in 1984, and then the ENEMY SOIL "Nail In The Coffin" LP will follow soon after!

Lastly, there is a plan formulating to re-issue the long out of print and hard to find JACKIE BODIMEAD "Don't Believe In Love" album! She has surfaced over in the UK and is in touch with Greg Hart (IF ONLY) and he is setting this thing up! It will feature liner notes, pix, and bonus track(s?) just like the IF ONLY "Destiny"! Very exciting stuff!

And, one more Outlaw item hit the graveyard, that being the THEO album which sold out this week! There are a few titles that are sold out through me, but are still available from my distributor for those who may be interested. They are called SCRATCH RECORDS and they still copies of the VYNDYKATOR vinyl, the BOULDER live LP, and the PLACE OF SKULLS album- all of which I've been out of for a while! Click here to get to their site! Scratch Records!

8/10/05

So we're back from the BATTLETORN tour and here's the deal with what's going on at Outlaw. Basically, it goes like this... Outlaw Recordings, which has been a big part of my life for the past 5 years is going to have to take a new spot in the bigger picture. I just finished school in June, and am going to have to pull in the label a bit so that it's at a level that's managable while I do the rest of the things I plan on doing with my life. I'm planning to try and keep the label going forever if possible, putting out at least a release or two a year as time permits. But I'm not going to be able to keep up the pace as it's been going.

But, before this happens there are a couple things in the pipeline that I hope to get out, so keep your eyes peeled! Thanks for all your interest and support over the years! It couldn't have happened without ya'll!

In the meantime, two more items hit the 'Outlaw Graveyard' this week (meaning they're sold out), those are the DECEASED picture disc and the PLACE OF SKULLS cd-ep.

6/11/05

Wow, has it really been almost 6 weeks since the last update!?!? Well, NOBODY won the contest- but the answer is that the first release on Noise Records, which was originally known as (Total) Noise was BITCH "Be My Slave". Noise was a division of 'Modern Music' company according to the labels of the early releases!

PLEASE NOTE!!!!!

OUTLAW RECORDINGS WILL BE CLOSED FROM June 17-July 20th!!! This is so we can do the BATTLETORN "Wild, Blind, and Screaming" tour of the US!!! Check our our site for info, come out to a show if you're in one of these towns..click here! BATTLETORN . So I'll talk to you all when we return! Thanks!

4/24/05

Ok, so this contest thing is causing some confusion and controversy! As I stated below, the first release on Noise is DEFINITELY not the "Death Metal" compilation LP!!! I know this because I own two copies of this album (there were two different sleeves released), and it is NOISE-006! There are FIVE releases before it!

And what makes it even more interesting is that Tony found this on the Noise Records official site - a bio which states that "Death Metal" was their first release! Funny how people like to 'rewrite history' like that! I bet they WISH it was their first release, since it's their most notable from the early days and ended up coining a term/name for an entire genre with it's title, but it is NOT their first release!

The contest is still rolling on... and if anyone has early Noise Records releases (from the first 10 catalog #'s) send the titles in, I would like to put together a proper list of their releases, since the label themselves doesn't seem able to do so!

A couple titles entered the "outlaw graveyard" this week, including the BOULDER "Unleashed.." LP. However, my distributor in Canada may still have some, check the Scratch Records page under my links. A couple other titles are about to sell out, the THEO album, the BOULDER cd is almost gone... a few oldies but goodies!

4/21/05

The last of the April 2005 Outlaw blowout arrived today, the BOULDER "Degenerates" singles are in! It came out great, in a nice b/w pic sleeve and all- with a tombstone on the cover, which I would assume subtley symbolizes that these are supposed to be the last recordings by this great band. Please see the ordering page for more info on this release. Also, details about the 7 different insert styles that we used for the BOULDER live album are now detailed on the page for that LP.

Also, I've decided to have the FIRST Outlaw Recordings contest! Here's how it'll work- I will award a FREE copy of one of the three new releases (their choice), to the first person to answer the following question: what was the FIRST release on the classic German label Noise Records, which was at the time known as (Total) Noise? This will be interesting to see if ANYONE out there knows this. It's an obscure metal fact... good luck! Contest ends when somebody gives me the right answer!

Contest update: thanks to those who have sent in answers, but no winners yet! Many people seem to think it was the "Death Metal" comp, but that was in fact Noise #6. The "Rock From Hell" comp was Noise #3. So, before you guess them- neither of these is the answer!

4/12/05

Man, when it rains it rains METAL! Both the VICTOR GRIFFIN & MIDNIGHT CD's came in today! Both look/sound great, and are available for ordering! Victor CD has 2 bonus tracks not on vinyl version, and MIDNIGHT cd features many unreleased tracks!

4/10/05

So the "Undercover Bangers" acetates were completed yesterday, but are basically all spoken for so they've gone straight from the "future plans" section to the "graveyard"! They were a just for fun kinda thing anyway, they aren't super hi-fi real vinyl or anything- but cool for the kult metal maniacs!

The other three new releases should be in here in the next week or so, the VICTOR GRIFFIN cd, the MIDNIGHT cd, and the BOULDER single. Keep an eye out! Testing!

4/6/05

Ok, gonna try something new on here, which I hope will make it easier to just check in and see what's happening in the Outlaw Camp! I will just put all news/update info here when I update the site into a single section so you don't have to scroll around to see what I changed/updated! cool!? There's a lot to report, so this extensive debriefing should cover it all I hope! haha...

Alright, first of all, everyone should get the new OCTOBER 31 album, it totally crushes and I think it may be the album of the year so far, and could take the title all the way! It's on Metal Mike P's label Manical Records, and you can email them at maniacalrecords@aol.com for further information!!! It comes in an amazing gatefold sleeve, and the first 300 copies come with a bonus single! Old school, support this releases, it is TRUE METAL!!!!!!

Ok, now that I've rambled enough about some other labels release, let me tell you what's up here! Well, I got the discs for the acetate "Undercover Bangers" 45s by BOULDER and OCTOBER 31 in last week, but I haven't had the chance to make the covers! Both of these releases are in editions of 26 copies, so are pretty much already sold out. Total kult releases- I had to do a couple because I was feeling 'out of touch' with that side of Outlaw after doing a few 'big' run releases. It was started to have fun and make little crazy shit like this, so I gotta keep that alive!

A LOT is happening out in Cleveland.. the two joint releases I'm doing with SHIFTY RECORDS and MY MINDS EYE records are both almost ready to go. The first is the BOULDER single of their last three songs they recorded which just absolutely rip like everything they do! Next, the MIDNIGHT anothology CD is almost back from the plant too!

Next, in the PLACE OF SKULLS & VICTOR GRIFFIN camp... we have big news too! Evidently, POS, is not breaking up after all, and are set to go to Europe next week to embark on a tour which will include them playing the DOOM SHALL RISE festival! Good luck on that trip guys, sounds awesome, and if anyone lives over there in those areas, GO SEE THEM!!!!! Then, the VICTOR GRIFFIN "Late For An Early Grave" CD version is printed and on the way to me from the plant! So I should have those by next week probably!

Catalog updates- well the BOULDER "Live In The Midwest" LP is amost sold out, as is the BOULDER "Ripping Christ" CD (after being out for 5 years!). Also, sales of RANCID DECAY are brisk in Japan at a couple stores that are carrying it, one of which is the great RECORD BOY in Tokyo, and also PUNK & DESTROY! Thanks to them for carrying so much Outlaw stuff, it means a lot!!!!!!

There's a couple more "It's a Fuckin' Boot" records that are almost in the can, first being the DESTRUTOR live LP from Cleveland '84 from their first show (I think it was opening for SLAYER!). Then there's an ENEMY SOIL one on the way from Rich, it's from the last show we did together at CBGB back in 2001- tentatively appropriately titled "The Nail In The Coffin"!!! Alright! Keep your eyes peeled!

THOR! THOR! THOR!!! There's a lot going on with THOR too, he's playing in LA in April, has a new DVD coming out, all kinds of stuff! Go check out his site if you have a chance, they link is on this site! The "Mutant" CD will hopefully come out this summer or sometime in the near future!

Another idea that's being tossed around is that I'd like to do a "tribute" to one of the great NY Metal comps- the NY Metal '84 album- that featured BLACK LACE, CITIES, VIRGIN STEELE, and so many more.... and so Lino (Villains) and I have been talking and trying to figure out what NY bands to get on it! We want to put VILLAINS and BATTLETORN on there, and are still considering what else will be included. But there are plans to do the tribute ALL the way down to the front cover photo, for which I plan to participate! I will have to grow my hair a little more and be put wrapped in a gym towel for it though ... totally classic!

What else... well, we saw KREATOR on Sunday, that was AMAZING- they played for like 1.5 hours which was almost thrash overload but not quite! Go see them if they come to your town! And tonight JOAN JETT is playing some private free show in the city.. and for those of you who know me and my RUNAWAYS fixation you know it's always good to see any of these ladies rock it!

Wow, that was a LOT! Alright, hope this new "news" technique is more helpful and informative! Rage on!!!!!!!

The Rods - reunion show!

We made the voyage to Cortland to see the RODS reunion show yesterday, ARRRRGGGHHHH!!!!! It was great! I put up the pictures from the trip right here, click on this link!!!!!! They played about 15 songs and totally killed! The new tune "69 Magnum" was a ripper too! WOW!!

Outlaw Photo archives!

Here's a BUNCH of pictures I've accumulated over the years of shows, friends, records, travels, all kinds of stuff! Some of it pretty amusing!! Here's the link!!!!!!

Metal Ron is an Outlaw!

Why didn't this happen 5 years ago?!?! Don't know why it's taken us this long to figure out that Metal Ron (some have other nicknames for him, or may just call him Ron, but to me he is Metal Ron!) needs to be a part of Outlaw Recordings! What is he gonna do? A&R!!!!!! Outlaw now has an A&R guy! I don't even really know what it stands for, but it sounds cool and I think it means the guy who goes out and finds bands for the label!

We were hanging out last week at a show and just got to talking about music and life as we always do, and it just dawned on me! You can see the joy on our faces above minutes after this revelation was made!!! Metal Ron has been in the scene and a music fan FOREVER so he knows his shit and is perfect for this! First duty is to find a good old NYHC release I hope, or maybe those WINTER demos! Those who know me know how highly I think of this guy and how much I talk about him, so I'm really pumped about this! Can't wait to see what he pulls out of the freaking vaults!

Place of Skulls CD-EP - available now!

The"Love Through Blood" CD-EP contains 4 unreleased tracks, you know what to expect! It came out looking and sounding great! Very happy about this one!!! Victor wrote up the story behind this one, so check it out on the POS page! Place of Skulls broke up, but then they didn't, and now they're going to Europe in April for a tour!! Check their site for details! And also, the VICTOR GRIFFIN "Late For An Early Grave" CD is at the plant now being pressed and should be ready in a couple weeks!

This CD-EP is available for $8 (+ postage)

Northern Lights

The first collaberation between Outlaw Recordings and Maniacal Records (Metal Mike P's label from VA) is set to come out soon. I wish it was under more festive circumstances, but in a way it is... and will be a celebration of a ruler and his love for all things HEAVY METAL!!!! The NORTHERN LIGHTS demo from '93 was recorded and released by a friend of ours who recently passed away. Musically it's total basement metal, literally, which has touches of traditional metal, doom, and even some black metal parts. And when I say 'black metal' I mean the real shit, like Hellhammer/Bathory influenced- not the tender second wave of black metal that all sounded like static to me!

It will be in an edition of 200 probably, and again, I'm really happy that Metal Mike P and I are finally joining forces for a release!

Five Freaking Years!

It's hard to believe, but January, 2005 marked 5 years of Outlaw Recordings! Thanks to everyone involved for so many great releases, good times, and the friendship... the best is yet to come!

VICTOR GRIFFIN "Late For An Early Grave" CD on the way!

This is a monster release that's was in the works for almost 4 years! An LP of unreleased demos recorded through the years by Victor Griffin, a purveyor of the modern doom guitar sound!! His work in the bands PENTAGRAM, DEATH ROW, and PLACE OF SKULLS has been recognized worldwide as some of the heaviest, killer doom ever created! But there was more to the story, some material that had been circulating among fans for years has now finally being committed to a more concrete form than a 10th generation dubbed cassette tape!

I can't put into words how excited and happy I am about this release, and the response to the LPwas incredible- sold out fast! There are many original songs, one featuring Wino, and demo versions of PENTAGRAM classics. Also a few covers of classics by MOTORHEAD and the DEAD BOYS! The material speaks volumes, and the photos and liner notes provide the masses with a clear perspective on Victor's amazing career in music! The CD version of this with 2 bonus tracks is at the plant right now, and will be available in the next couple weeks!

RANCID DECAY: the boys from back home!

It's out!!! An LP of the first two demos by these Maryland thrashers from '86 & '87- which are just total krushers! Musically, it's in the vein of old SACRIFICE (Canada) and THE ACCUSED- bands of that type. And the art for this is sick, check out the cover! Best news is that they have reformed also, and will be playing out again REAL soon I hope! There's a great review of the RANCID DECAY album that Rob from DOOMED PLANET RECORDS did, check the RANCID DECAY page for that! And for ordering, see catalog page for details!

This LP is limited to 500 #'ed copies, comes housed in a beautiful glossy sleeve w/ an inner sleeve too, and it's only $10 (+ postage)!

BOULDER "Unleased in the Midwest" LP out!!!:

The first in the "It's a Fuckin' Boot" series is done! It's the BOULDER "Unleashed in the Midwest" album, and it kills! Limited to 220 copies with TOTALLY old school bootleg packaging, it is sure to please the fans of this bunch of degenerates from Cleveland! There are no less than 7 different sleeves on 5 different colors of paper, so don't bother trying to collect 'em all! It'll cost ya $10 (+ postage), you know, your average BOOT price!

THOR "Mutant" CD in the works!

With both versions of the vinyl sold out, THOR and I decided to put a few more tracks together and do a CD version of the "Mutant" album! It's going to have 4 more songs and a BBC interview from '84 on it! This should be awesome, keep your eyes peeled!

Check out this review of "Mutant" from KNAC!

Outlaw Photo Gallery Finally Up!

What inspired me to do this? Seeing BLACKLACE on Sunday night!

Check it out!

More to come as time permits... like the pix of me meeting Uli Jon Roth!

IF ONLY "Destiny" CD is here!

This is big news for Outlaw- the first CD in quite sometime! It's a 17 song 75 minute CD of unreleased IF ONLY material featuring their original singer Jackie Bodimead (ex-Girlschool)! It features the original version of the "No Bed Of Roses" album with Jackie on vocals, along with a bunch of demo/radio session tracks from this era! I can't tell you how excited I am about this one, it's devastating! This is totally over the top arena metal that just SOARS! Songs so catchy you'll have to beat them out of your head!!!!!

It's here, and ready to go!! In an effort to make sure these get out there and people actually hear these tunes finally, the direct price for these if ordered from the site is just $5 (+ postage)! So I hope some people take a chance on a band who really should have taken over! There's a great new review of this LP by Powerplay magazine on the IF ONLY page for this release!

IT'S A FUCKIN' BOOT!!!:

A new project is being launched, a live album series which will be called "It's A Fuckin' Boot!". Of course they won't really be bootlegs since the bands will be involved. The title of the series is based on yet another inside joke about a certain record dealer who was convinced that everything was a bootleg! I guess now it won't be an inside joke anymore though as it's going public! These LP releases will be modeled after the old 70's style bootleg LPs that had paste on insert covers and uch. The first LP in this series will be a live ripper by BOULDER entitled "Unleased In The Midwest"! Got the test pressings for this, sounds GREAT!

UNDERCOVER BANGERS" series:

I've been wanting to do some super limited acetate 45s, and I think this is where it's going to start.

The first one, which will be an OCTOBER 31 single with their live versions of songs by MOTLEY CRUE and RIOT! King cut the master for these tunes for me this weekend as we hung out and he hooked me up with a RODS jersey! I love this guy, one of the few and true!

I got the BOULDER tracks too, which are two raging SAXON covers from two different "basement" sessions!

These have been in the works for a while, but I'm working on getting the label art straight for these, and then will be sending them off to the pressing place! They are being sent next week (it's 12/17 now), and I've decided to do these in editions of 25 copies each! Why? Because they're acetates, and acetates don't need to be mass produced. This series is for the few and true who dig it and want to have some fun! They will probably be around $8-10 each, so ultra kult and for the diehards only!!!! It is 3/26, and the discs for this just arrived this week! I still have to make the covers... nothing is speedy over here right!?!?!

MIDNIGHT: gone, but shall return!!

MIDNIGHT... the LP is gone. Then came a three way joint release between SHIFTY RECORDS, MY MIND'S EYE, and OUTLAW, it's gone now too. But there is a CD in the works...

In the meantime, check it out, click here for: "All Hail Hell"!

LONG LIVE DEATH!!!

VYNDYKATOR regular vinyl version is gone!

Well, it was a long time coming, but the black vinyl version of the "Heaven Sent From Hell" album got done, it came, and went! It's sold out through me, but my distributor may have copies if you missed out- check them out at Scratch Records!

It only gets better at Outlaw!

This is a picture of Chris, he's a total ruler who knows how to type (and do a few other things) on the computer, so of course I was overjoyed when he volunteered to help out with doing layouts on these next few releases we're getting together! This guy is awesome, and as you can see from the picture, he's totally made for the Outlaw Crew!

Thank you to Scratch Distribution!

There's a great label/distribution company out of Vancouver that I wanted to say thank you to on here! They (especially Keith and Danny!) have been super cool, and distributed the THOR album for me to people/places I never could have reached! They are going to be carrying the VYNDYKATOR album soon too! Check them out via this link, they have a TON of stuff on their site! Click Here! Thanks guys!
